My husband has degenerative disks and treatments, medications, injections do not help. We are both afraid he may be looking at surgery. Those of you with degenerative back disease please share treatments that you have had; both those that were successful and not successful. I would also appreciate it if you could share any experiences with surgery..both the good and the bad.
We want to gain all of the knowledge that we can before making a decision. Don't know if the risk is worth it. I am so worried about him I wanted to come to this board, because people have been so helpful in the past.
Thanks so much for your help.

I had 3 herniated discs as well as degenerative disc disease. I had lost 1/2 and inch of height because of the degenerative disc disease. I tried Chiro, physical therapy, medications and epidurals with little long term help for any of them. I was in the process of picking a surgeon when a I was told to look into Vax-d. I did some research I was intrigued but also skeptical. I had posted a question to other on the boarRAB and I got a mixed reviews - but I decided to try. I did treatment and it worked! It took a little while, but it was worth it. It has now been three years and I feel great. Unfortunately my husband tried treatment as well and it didn't work as well for him. He was much improved, but he still has some pain. I hope that was helpful to you. I wish your husband all the best.
