Need advice re: asthma meds other than Advair (sick of hoarseness)

Yup, me too, teaching in 2 weeks. Need both a voice and some air to put behind it!

I'm on Syrabicort now. Don't know how that's going to work out, given that Advair seriously messed with my stomach, and Syrabicort also contains a LABA.

I just started it today.
 
Well, good luck to you. I start Qvar tomorrow (need to get it filled). Hopefully we will both find a solution...and soon! *sigh*
 
Thanks for the advice. I just hate trying new meRAB. I keep thinking "your asthma seems controlled so just leave well enough alone"...but then I make a phone call and someone asks me if I'm sick or if I'm ok (bec it sounRAB like I'm crying). arggh. :mad:

It just sucks my confidence away from me when I open my mouth and a squeak comes out.

Anyway, I'll update when I get a chance to see my doc and check out plan C.
