Need advice please!?

I have used the names 'Victor', 'Nina' and 'Ryan' in my book, Nina and Ryan being a couple, Victor being Nina's brother. To my horror, someone told me that there are characters with these same names in a soap opera (Young and Restless). In fact, that Nina and Ryan are a couple in the soap opera too! I've never even watched the thing but I suspect people will automatically think I've just copied the names. Would you advise me to change at least one of them? I can't risk such comparisons! Many thanks :)
 
Erm!?! Never heard of the soap and surely the name/s are perfectly fine if the characters are different to yours. What's in a name? The point is how do you feel about changing the name/s? I know that when I develop a character the name just falls into place almost as though that character has chosen it. If Nina, Ryan and Victor feel right then stick with it!!!! Good luck.
