Need advice on service

I have 3700 miles on my 1098. My problem is the season is whinning down here. Should I put the extra miles on the bike to get to the 4500 service and let it sit for three months or should I wait until next season and get the service at the beginning of the season.

I must have missed something............ 4500 miles service? What will they be doing? Don't you mean 7500 miles?

After the first 600 it's every 7500k. Just my procedure but i change the oil
before I store it for the winter regardless of mileage. Keeps the bearings
from being etched by acids in the oil....cheap insurance.

Its actually 7500 miles or 12000 Kilometers
