I want to know which steps to take first. I need a new haircut and a new haircolor. I already know which haircut I want but I´m unsure of the whole process. Right now my hair is black/brownish kinda and I want to dye it jet black with red highlights. I know I can do the black part (because I´ve done it for myself several times before). So which steps should I take for that process? Haircut 1st, then black (done by myself) then red highlights? what do you suggest? how long should I wait in between each steps?
Would it be really damaging for my hair to put the black then do the red highlights over it?
