Our daughter has been bullied & threatened since grade school. Then a boy started saying she had germs & no one would have anything to do with her. The principal & school counselor refused to help. They constantly said that our daughter was too sensitive, even when a boy threatened to stab her & the teacher said he probably would. She's also been teased about learning problems. She made it through grade school & middle school. She had ups & downs emotionally due too continuing problems. She finally got voted into the student council in 9th grade because no one else ran. She started high school happy & did well in her studies...even got on the honor roll. She got onto student council for 10th grade because she did a lot of work(she wasn't voted in). In 11th grade she lost getting voted in & the teacher changed the rules. She wouldn't let our daughter back in. We spoke to the principal & she let her back on. Now, going into the 12th grade she lost again. The student council in her school is not run the way it should be. We spoke to an expert from another school. Our daughter has done other student's jobs this year, when they didn't show up. The PTSA complained that these students were supposed to help at events & didn't. We got the Constitution which states that the teacher has a right to allow 2 extra students in who weren't voted in. Our daughter isn't looking to take anyone's position who got voted in. She just wants to be on the student council, because it's a place where she fits in. The principal won't help this time. We would be able to understand this if there was no prvision to allow her on & it was done fairly, but this isn't what we were told. We were told that anyone doing all the work could stay on. Now the rules have been changed. Any suggestions?
