Need a really good manga where people are constantly in life/death situations?

(no death note)? i want a manga where its kind of dark and edgy and people a liable to be killed the **** off, no matter who they are in the storyline. i iwould prefer if it had some school life and a bit of romance in it.

i've already read Gantz, Berserk, HSOTD, houzuki island and parasyte.
