Ok, here is the deal, im looking for a gsm phone that has a loudspeaker that is almost as loud as a nextel loudspeaker....
That is THE most importand feature that i want other than bluetooth. I tried nextel but their coverage in the area's that i live and work are royally SAD. I had the phone for 3 weeks and turned it back in, sad sad coverage...
SO im comming back to cingular and im looking for a phone with a loudspeaker comparible to a nextel... I may be asking for much but thats what im looking for and if anyone knows a model... please feel free to speak up..

Thanks

Ive also heard of the 6270. looking at the specs for both the 6270 and the 6233, they both have DUAL speakers...
Im just wondering if that is TRUE dual speakers inside (one of each side) or a single speaker in the middle with like dual tiny tunnel's echo'ing the speaker sound to make u think its dual speakers... But thats more my mere imagination but a thought for someone to really look into...

The loudest loudspeaker I have ever heard was on the LG CU500. Even without loudspeaker its still REALLY loud. Holy buckets I couldnt even talk on it at full volume because it almost blew my ear out.

I thought about that phone for a while, but the tri-band is what holds me back. I dont know why cause i have 2 other tri-band phones as well as 2 quad band phones in the closet.... i guess im making a big deal out of nothing... That phone has everything important that i need in it... Maybe ill stop being picky and just buy the dang thing...

Of all the phones I've used [and I've used ALOT].. LGs have the LOUDEST and CLEAREST Speakerphones.. with Nokias coming in second... I love the speaker on my Nokia N73 .. I use it with TMobile and Cingy Pre Paid... But, LGs win hands down on speakerphones!

Motorola speakerphones are crap..

Also, don't compare CDMA phones' volume with GSM... GSMs voice quality/loudness is lower in the US in comparison to CDMA..

Well, when it comes to nextel motorola's, i will agree they suk. Im sure its not the speakerphone itself, its the Iden service that is bad. It was not meant for crystal clear calling as if u were speaking live to them...
My wife has a Motorola V551 and the voice quality is excellent on the earpiece and loudspeaker. Sounds like ur talking in person, the only thing is the loudspeaker.. NOT very loud at all..!!
FOr example, they make the newer nextel phones that are Iden 800 and GSM 1900. I guarantee u if u put in a CIngular sim chip in there and use it, it will SOUND 100 times better than if u used that phone with Iden service..!! The only problem is that cingular has limited 1900 througout and im not gonna pay $300+ for a nextel phone that has ONLY gsm 1900 and get limited coverage..

Ive NEVER in my live used a CDMA provider..

I've owned a nokia 6233 briefly, but all I can say is that the speakerphone on it was average if not subpar. I could make the ringtone really loud but the speakerphone was just...soft.

Yeah, thats how it is on MOST phones.... the ringtones are PLENTY loud but when it comes to using that same speakerphone during a voice call, the volume output is dropped drastically...
The ur like, WTF... its LOUD as crap when u play mp3's but when u use it for voice calls, the speakerphone is crap... Makes no sense.
