Need a Phone to Sync with Outlook Calendar

Your options are BlackBerry or Windows Mobile. It sounds like you'd be more comfortable with BlackBerry though. Check out the BlackBerry Storm 2, the BlackBerry Tour, or the HTC Touch Pro2.

Don't Blackberry's make you sign up for an additional monthly plan? Or can I just get a Blackberry and use the Calendar Sync and not sign up for anything else? I was looking at one HTC option, the HTC Ozone. Would that suit my needs? Thanks

Personally, I don't use a BlackBerry or any other Smartphone device, but from all of the posts I have seen in this forum, if you get one of those devices thru Verizon, they will require you to sign up for an account with a data plan.

Hello, copper blue: You inquiry about a phone which would sync with Outlook and is not one of the so-called smartphones, is the same question I have been searching. What did you come up with?
So far, I have found info that says the LG enV3 will sync with Outlook using pitbim.net, and does not require an extra $30 per month. I too, do not email with phone, nor text. I have visted a Verizon store and let's just say they are less than helpful - they want you to buy a blackberry-type phone and pay the whopping extra fees.
I have found there are other folks who want this level of phone, but the cnet reviewers and others in the evaluation side of the industry pay no attention either.
I have not purchased the LG enV3 yet, but am strongly considering it.
Did you find a phone?
Thanks,

CopperBlue I'm looking for the exact same thing and PersonDavid I just got out of a really aggravating chat with the Verizon "help" desk. It seems you can't get a smartphone from Verizon without also paying the extra $30/month to activate the web. I too am looking at the LG ENV3 and syncing the calendar with outlook. Can someone tell me how well this software works? Also, how is the LG calendar software to work with?

I purchased the LG enV3 from Verizon yesterday the 7th. I have not yet tried the bitpim software to sync with Outlook. I have ordered a micro sd card to insert into the phone. Apparently the card can hold all music, pictures and media, thus freeing up phone memory to hold calendar and contacts. I'll post here when I'm done.
Thanks.
