The Treo 650 is the older version of the 700wx. And with all upgrades, the 700 is a little sleeker, less buggy, more powerful, and it can do a few more things. If you're going to sign a 2 yr contract, you probably don't want to get an older version. So to me, this comes down to the classic smartphone question, do you need/want a Treo or the Q?
It really depends on what you need, and there and a ton of Treo vs. Q threads around. I generally tend to side with the Moto Q myself. But the general outline is, what do you need it for? The Q is a phone first and is designed with that concept, while the Treo is a PDA first and will do more on that side of things. The Treo won't have near as good of reception in outlying places and the calls won't sound as clear, but it might run a few more programs cleaner and quicker on the data/organizer side of things. Just for web use, I would have to say that you would probably be happier with the Q, but when you go to a store, you should ask to demo both units.
