Need a new phone...

Dilemma:

My Motorola T720 is starting to crack at the hinge, so I'm speeding up my search. I haven't looked at phones in a while and have been out of the loop of the industry for a few years. Right now, I'm leaning towards another Motorola flip, like the V360. Thing is, the Blackberry Pearl is being marketed in a way it's caught my interest. I stopped at a dealer to look at the phones, and was also suggested the RAZR V3T. I was online at Rogers.com earlier and saw the V635i.

So...basically it's between the V360, V3T, Pearl or the V635i.

Overall, I want just a basic phone -- but I want to get what I pay for. I'm just worried that the V3T and Pearl won't be able to withstand any roughness (they seem a bit delicate). Specwise, the V3T and V635i look to be a dead heat.

Also, for those in Canada, do you forsee any future price battle when number portability comes in? My other option is to also hold off on a PDA/BB when another phone I have can flip to Rogers, and maybe cash in then?

V635 yes may be a great overall phone, but i know GapboyPCS for a long time, and think he will prefer the V360 (or V361), the Nokia 6126/6133 is a good choice too, but if battery life is important to you, then get the v360 instead of this, cus the 6133 sucks more juice.. The RAZR V3T is also a nice choice, but I'd recommend taking a look at the SonyEricsson W810i or even the Z710i, or if u want something simple but a nice camera, the K510a from fido will sufice. Yes I know you are looking for Rogers phones, but if you check SonyStyle.ca they have generic unbranded/unlocked which will work on not just rogers but fido too.
