Drink only water. Just water and maybe tea in the mornings. No juice, no sodas. Get rid of everything that has 15 grams of sugar per serving in your house. Buy lean red meat, skinless boneless chicken, vegetables, and fruits.
Join a gym and make time for it. Or if you don't have the time of the day then buy a treadmill or a bike for your home to help you get your cardio done. Each meal you take should consist of protein, carbs, and vegetables. For example, rice, grilled/sauteed chicken with onions and garlic, and green beans. Aside from doing your cardio do some mild weight training to increase and tone your muscles. You won't bulk up or get all muscular but having muscles active in your body increases your metabolism because it takes a lot of energy to maintain. This is a change of lifestyle, be sure you're ready to commit. Nothing will change if you don't do anything about it. Also, it wouldn't hurt to have a buddy accompany you to the gym.
