Hi there. I am a female college student majoring in photography and I love it. However, with the explosion of digital cameras, it's very hard to find an actual "photography" job unless you're very good at it. So I am also majoring in biology and chemistry, so I can hopefully incorporate the 3 into my future career. I got into photography mostly because of my love for animals. I love taking wildlife pictures, and eventually my love for photography grew. I think it's a great hobby for all and everyone of any age. Personally, I like digital photography the best because of the fast results, and the inexpensiveness of taking thousands of pictures. I do also have 2 33mm film cameras that I love to take professional pictures with... the only drawback is that I can't take as many of them because film becomes expensive. I hope this helps slightly, and I hope you discover that you really enjoy photography, too. It's a complete learning process, so experiment with types and objects. You'll find something you love. Have fun!
