Need a decent non-camera phone

I had Cingular with Motorola V220 (work most of the time, not perfect). Then got the Nokia 6102i. That was a terrible phone, decided to cancel on Cingular. I switched to Verizon with a LG VX4400. Both the phone and reception are terrible. Now I want to switch back to Cingular. I can't use a camera phone at work. Any suggestion on a decent non-camera phone? I need a phone with good reception. My house sits behind a hill.
