I currently have Infuse 4g, and came from iPhone 4. Great phone, android is super easy to use. I was worried about the size of the phone, but it is a lot lighter than the iBrick. It fits in all of my pockets (not huge over-sized cargo shorts pockets, but regular size clothing) When you get the phone, I suggest you head on over to xda-dev and have a look around for more fun. It's nice to have a phone that you can remove the battery, replace microsd card. Have control over your rom. can customize to your liking, and not rely on the IOS devs to tell you how you should use your phone. The devs over at XDA, give you several choices, and they all are free and are developed by people not handcuffed by the phones manufacturer. I will never own another IOS product. I started with original iPhone. For all the people saying you can just jailbreak it, I did that as well from the beginning. Apple is always concerned with that cat and mouse game, rather than concentrating on customer feedback. It is funny to me, when they release new hardware and basically tell their "LOYAL" followers to just get the new thing, we know you just overpaid for the previous thing 6 months ago, but you need this new thing to stay popular among all of your friends. I wish people would wake up out of this Apple "CLOUD" yes pun intended.......

Wow I did not intend for this to be a rant. Sorry.
Infuse is a great phone. I wanted to wait for the Galaxy S2, but not sure when it was coming so jumped on the infuse. I got mine from Costco, due to there 90 day return policy even on cell-phones. So I figure if the GS2 comes out before that time, I may switch, but I do like this phone a lot. My battery life, after heading over to XDA-Dev is awesome. I haven't charged it in 48 hrs. and I use it alot. It sits now at 65%. WOW

I got the Infuse.. its awesome .. a little big buy very slim and light .. still got my unlimited data .. I have a question tho , the sales rep forced me to replace my sim card.. I was like , its the same network , just upgraded so why would i need to? Then he turns to me and says that if I don't I will be stuck with 3g speeds .. lol obviously att is confusing the crap out of everyone.. anyway it was free and my sim was a little worn out.. anyway I love this phone (except for touchwiz) .. can't wait for gingerbread

I was faced with a similar decision and also went with the Infuse. I am in love with this device, but one thing is a wee bit odd - I also was forced to change my SIM card. And now, when I'm at work (way out in the one bar woods) my new device loads videos at A FRACTION of the speed my old device did. I'm guessing its the SIM because its the exact same account with the exact same company, I'm sitting at the exact same desk, and I'm sure my old hardware was not as capable of the same transfer rate. So... it has to be the 4G SIM is actually inferior when faced with 3G coverage.

But, anyway, I think u made the right choice. The screen on this thing is gorgeous. I like watching movies on it better than my laptop LOL.

I almost went with an Inspire. Especially when radio shack started giving them away for 30bux and told me I could keep my unlimited data plan. It was the front facing camera and the beautiful screen that swung me over to the Infuse.

That's true, no front camera on the Inspire. I have one on my Samsung Droid Charge and rarely use it, I thought I would use it more but so far I haven't. They both have beautiful screens, but I have to give the prize to my Droid Charge, it has a Super AMOELD+ screen.

Personally I would done the Atrix. The bootloader is likely to be unlikely to get in it's Gingerbread update. I am not a Samsung fan because of Touchwiz. After having Moto W & WO Blur, Samsung Vibrant, and HTC W& WO Sense. The dialer and how contacts and ringtones are different and annoying.

Samsung does have great Screen but not impressive on things like Touchwiz and Camera.

i picked up the infuse over the inspire for the front facing camera as well ... touchwiz doesnt bother me as much because you can also use another loader... Did you say the infuse was unlikely to get gingerbread? i know sammy is slow at these things but the Canadian version that is going to be released has gingerbread.. only matter of time

Love my infuse won't switch.. Also like the interface fast 4g i pulled 7mbps on it
