I am helping our neighbor with his 1974 ford f250 with a 360 engine. He let someone use it 4 or 5 years ago and it came back with a engine fire. All the wiring and vacuum lines are burnt up on it. Now it has a new carburator, plug wires, battery, and the wiring is all replaced but there is a plug that has a blue wire coming from the firewall and a white with black stripe wire coming from what i think is down on the alternator. We are missing a wire on the post on the coil, so I'm thinking one of them goes to it?? Also the vacuum lines are all burnt off and not sure what vacuum lines go to the carburator on the side with the ports. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks alot in advance.
The blue wire is factory and comes through the firewall into a plug and the same plug has a white wire with black stripe coming into it from the alternator. The carb is a factory Autolite 2100 rebuild.
