I need 10 people because i cant determine this based on just 1 or 2 replies
In my book a disappearance happens at the start this is just background which draws the person in to find out why and ultimately becomes only a portion of the quest of the book
Problem is deciding
1. Do i start the book on the night of the disappearance, basically explaining what is happening but not providing the WHY leaving that till later. Leaning towards a action beginning
2. Start it after the disappearance has happened, leaving the reader guess as to How it went down, why it went down, and later in the book explaining that.. So kind of leaning towards mystery beginning
Again the disappearance is not what the book is about, its only 1 plot among many that lead up to more. A Springboard so to speak
So which one above do you think you would be more grabbed by?
