Neck Pain

I am 57 and been having severe neck pain and abdomen pain for months. Then I was out of work with walking pneunomia and my doctor took lots of blood tests and told me I had Epstein Barr and he also suggestion I go off my colesterol medication. He suggested this because all my tests I had was showing Nothing was wrong with my neck.
My colesterol is high, not sure right now of the counts but since I stop taking it I have to admit I am feeling less tired, and my neck today for the first time in months is not bothering me.
Has anyone else had this happen? Could the medicine have caused this pain? At this point I am going to try this red yeast rice I am reading about and just this week I went to the beach for the first time in 15 years.
I also want to start exercising again and does anyone thing that will also help lower my colesterol?
thank you. Angela

Hi, I heard the red rice yeast is supposed to work well. I have not heard of the meds causing neck pain but I just started on mine not too long ago. You can do a search for things that help lower cholesterol, from all the searching I did, a change in diet, and the supplement should help quite a bit. I just don't remember what all the foods were, some you avoid, some you add to your diet every day. I am glad you are feeling better. Good luck to you!
