Ive had pain in my shoulder for the past 10 years.Initially it would only occur every 6months or so.The first time i stretched in bed and my neck locked, i had to slide out of bed. I had limited movement for about 5 days where i couldnt move my neck or head freely. I was advised anti inflammatory remedies and gentle exercise. After that i would often experience pain in either of my soulder blades.The next time i was drawing the cutains and my neck locked again causing me severe pain. Following this i would go and see a chiropractor or osteopath who would manipulate my neck and temporarily reduce the pain. More recently i have neck pain on either side of my neck going up towarRAB my head, pain in my shoulder and ive been getting headaches. My c spine area is tender to touch and over the counter medicines are not sufficient to ease the pain. I have had some heaviness in my upper arm and occasionally in my right forearm at night. I am wondering is any of this is symptomatic of a disc problem and would it be worthy of any xray. My sleeping patterns is increasingly disturbed as i am tossing and turning throughout the night to get comfortable.Please help.
