Might be a silly question, but I was wondering when a sailor (just after boot camp) would go to A school?
I've been getting the impression that some sailors (maybe its rate specific?) go straight to the fleet without going to A school?
Anyways, I hope to qualify for Gunner's Mate on the ASVAB and was wondering if Id be going to the fleet after boot or to A school. Also, it would be cool if some GMs could tell me their experiences
