Navy boot camp general discharge still have chance to serve?

Would you please let me know,How long will take in navy boot camp to general-discharge papers and out-processing from the Naval Hospital ?
Or there is some chace that, Recruits have little chace to save from discharge even his waiting on papers processing?
I pray hard that, my son is good young man and still have chance to serve Great US Navy..

That all depends on what he is being discharged for and the code on the bottom of his
DD Form 214. I used to help prior service people get back in the military and the first thing
I needed was their 214 and based on that code I could either help get them processed back
in the military or unfortunately tell them they must wait or just disqualified period.

So the DD 214, RE code is the question.
