Great time to be at Great Lakes. You'll be standing "snow watch." When it dumps on the base you'll be out there at 0300 with your trusty shovel cleaning the grinders and sidewalks off.
At 0500, when you're standing in the chow line, three hours before dawn, and the temp is about 10 degrees, and the wind whipping in off Lake Michigan is running about 30 knots, you'll know the true meaning of "freezing your *** off."
Don't worry about working out. You'll do that in the drill halls.
