nauseous while exercising

I'm 50 years old and out of shape. I'm skinny but no tone etc. I've been a couch potato now for about 5 years except for riding my horse in the summer months. I joined the gym about a month ago. I've been working with a trainer to get me started on the weights. And I've been taking 2 classes a week of zuraba and 4 days a week doing yoga. The weights and yoga don't bother me but I get nauseous during zuraba. When I start to feel it coming on, I back off and just go more slowly - sometimes the nausea goes away, sometimes it doesn't. One night I had zuraba first and then yoga. I had to leave yoga only 15 min into it -- I was about to loose it!
Is this normal when starting out in an exercise routine?? Will it get better??
I did notice when I took a big gulp of water during cardio - it made the nausea much worse!
