I had a pretty bad panic attack last Wednesday. It was my 2nd one. Since then, I've had an on and off again nausea feeling, and some stomach pains. Is this normal? It seems like I feel OK in the morning, but it seems to bother me in the late afternoon (same time I had the attack.)

Also, it seems that at the same time every evening since, I'll start to feel an attack coming on. I'll take .25 mg of Xanax I got from the ER, and that tenRAB to hold the attack at bay, but doesn't do much to help my stomach. I'm going to see psychiatrist on Thursday, so hopefully he can help.

Are these feelings I'm having post attack normal under the circumstances? This is all new to me, and I could really use some advice.

Yeah it's common, but I think we're in a similar "pickle". See they gave me Ativan at the ER, and what I feel is causing my severe bad digestive problems is the Ativan, or rather the withdrawal from it.

Same thing happens to me, although its nausea and dizzyness. I'm pretty sure its just the 'panic' from having a panic attack lingering off. I'm glad your going to talk to someone about it, good luck :)

Yeah, I get a bit of the dizziness myself. Not too bad, but I do feel off. I feel slightly better today. I started yesterday taking ginger pills twice a day which are supposed to help with nausea. Also drinking chamomile tea.

I think the ginger pills have helped a bit. I haven't been really nauseaus for the past 2 days. Actually feeling pretty good today. No dizziness or anything.
