one eyed willy used to scare the crap out of me! it wasn't until i saw goonies years later that i realized he turned out to be good. haha.
i'm so excited for thanksgiving weekend because i'm going to get to see national treasure with my whole family. it's gonna be so much fun!

is there a one eyed willy, or a chester copperpot ;) just joking....

Yeah but anyways should be a blast, just another week to wait...

I really loved the film, i wish they would make more films like it. I totally enjoyed watching it, at times I was yelling at the screen telling them to move their butts faster or they were going to get caught..:)

it definitely reminds me of indiana jones too, but i also think it's kinda like an adult goonies. god, that is such a great movie!

I enjoy this movie, it's a nice action pack movie with some good laughs provided by Riley. I love seeing Sean Bean again since LOTR even if he was the bad guy. And an extra bonus for me was that one of Sean Bean's henchmen was played by the same actor who played Dr. Neil McNeil from the show Christy. I loved his character on that show and in the tv movies he was the only reason to watch them.

Ebert and Roeper are weird sometimes. They love many movies I hate, and hate many movies I love.

You know I'm thinking of getting the DVD too. The movie is a lot of fun and I was pleasantly surprised by it.

I was watching Roger & Ebert last night and they both gave National Treasure a thumbs down ! :irked: What bozos! Sometimes I want to ask them "Do you ever just enjoy life?"

yeah the trailer was so much fun, I was like dude, sweet.... Glad that they are coming out with this movies because I really like movies like these alot, in the nice tradition of Indiana Jones, pirates of the carribean and others... But anyways about 2 more weeks left until this movie comeso out, it'll be great..... I think this movie will make a few bucks in the box office

Treasure Tops the Thanksgiving Weekend

After a slow year so far for the studio at the box office, Walt Disney Pictures made a big comeback with a one-two punch over the five-day Thanksgiving weekend. The studio's National Treasure, starring Nicolas Cage and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, was the top movie for a second straight weekend with $46.2 million for the five days and $33.1 million for the three-day Friday-to-Sunday period. The $33.1 million is the sixth-biggest figure for the three-day Thanksgiving frame. The action-adventure has collected $87.9 million in two weeks.

I've wanted to see this since I first saw the trailer at the beginning of one of my dvds. I really want to go see it. Looks like a blast.

I liked this movie! Admittedly, it's the kind of popcorn blockbuster you can enjoy blissfully without having to think too much.

I liked Diane Kruger and Justin Barth in this movie. Riley was hilarious
I didn't like Nicholas Cage too much. Wished he could put a little more...oomph into his performance.

counting down the days, just a few more weeks. Should be a fun adventure ride... very excited to see this
