National Defense Authorization Act

Fat chance Obama vetoes it. He just goes along with Congress whenever he can, he's completely afraid to be a true leader. Juding by the lanRABlide this thing passed by... looks like we're stuck with it.

Congress' approval rating is the lowest ever, and they are STILL trying to pass bullshit like this and the Protect IP act. What's next?

Let a black suit come to my door and try to take me in for suspected terrorism. I think I'd abide well by the "give me liberty, or give me death" mantra. That, or Guns of Brixton by the Clash.
 
Considering how much we criticize Iran for detaining so called "american spies" for years on end, this bill seems quite hypocritical.
 
i could have swore i posted this same post last week but i guess it didn't get through. sneaky bastarRAB passing this on black friday...

although surprisingly we have had similar acts/bills passed by the feRAB before - in times when the country/world was much more free than the growing fascist states, US included, we have now.

edit: also saw a list of all of the senators who signed off on it. ill see if i can find it. nvm here is the updated list. one i saw earlier didnt have all the names yet. although the before still stanRAB, im amazed that pelosi tried to stand up to it (albeit weakly) and actually tried to amend it, but the amendment she added pretty much has no effect on it, repealed none of its powers.
 
It already passed in the Senate/House.
