Our government is doing such a bang up job with everything, we need to expand it more, entangle the bureaucracy even more, and in order to keep "top" talent in government, we need to pay them outrageous salaries provided by hapless taxpayers, that even a private sector company wouldn't pay. That is the pathway to ultimate prosperity and success.
 
Please point me towards the part of the government that was cut down and where the savings are. It's all a bunch of smoke and fucking mirrors. Each branch spends their budget to ensure they get just as much, if nrabroad

As for your govt department analysis, I agree. Our fiscal budget used to end in Oct, and wonder of wonders if Sept wasn't when all the bosses would start asking if we "needed" anything.
