Those of you using Bonsai checklist/planner/program extroadinaire should be aware that while a new FULL Version isn't out yet (Natara, I guess, actually -- hope you're all sitting down ---- T E S T stuff before releasing, and then don't charge for ANY minor upgrades within the "Version Number," in this case "3.0" -- listening, Iambic??), there are some "tweaks."
These 3 added/improved/replacement files are on one zip. Move the zip into the program file for Bonsai. THEN open the zip and look at the 3 files. DELETE the older versions of that file (ignore any messages about "HEY! you'll lose ability to use the program!") and move the files out of the zip into the folder (that's a paragraph to say "replace the files!"). Don't do what I did and try and move the zipped files from another folder - all you'll get is shortcut. Keep the zip in the program file.
The file contains a new application, the conduit dll's been improved, and the handheld app itself is replaced. Just hotsync that on to the Palm - no need to run any Desktop app, conduits, or anything else. Just replace the existing Palm app with the new one.
Just for laughs I changed a couple of outlines on the T3, and re-hotsynced. Conduit ran great (you'll notice when you buy this GREAT PROGRAM that the conduit/sync speed is faster than anything else you've seen - literally a "screenflash" and it's done). Bonsai is the quintissential "organizer by layers" app; I describe it as that because it does SO MUCH MORE than checklists or outlines - it is as versatile a program as a spreadsheet if you're creative. The desktop app quality is the BEST I've ever seen too - and it's customizable as hell!
Great app just got better - thought I'd pass it along. I thought I had the newest build (1200 something) - this #1308. They've been busy over there! It has NEVER crashed on me and I give it a workout.
Wish to God Natara made a calendar app -- maybe I'll take a peek now!!
