First day of the training with she is good,on this day we being training,she explain things very well in this department new employee usual train for 8 weeks...I,m on my 3rd week.
During the break she raise up ch-chat about politic while inquire into my background with some question such as “where you from “ are you Muslim “why you come to the united state “ how many wife one can married in your culture and how many brother,sister you have “blah blah etc. I responded with brief explaining of the circumstance that contribute to my decision to come to united state,while asking similar question to acknowledged her interest. After brake We want back to work
Next day and every day thereafter,her behaviours toward me change completely and she begin to be more or less sarcastic.
She state to me that we do not respect women and that evidence suggest mistreatment of women in my culture is clear to her. Even though this stuff is irrelevant to me but since she don’t want to leave it alone!!. I try to explain to provide some example of my life experience in itself and I was born into this society and live in few different country their social dysfunction have nothing to with me.. I never mistreat women or anybody therefore her reasoning clung is insignificant and irrelevant to me.
Obviously I want to learn everything within this place, location, department within the hospital and quickest route from place to places. she like to argued over everything,when time I ask her a question she will never provide helpful information instead she go into her defensive mode (I feel like she is saying” how DARE you point out MY flaws, while lecturing me” “why I should NEVER says to her I don’t know”
how would I suppose to learn if she is unwilling to train me while standby as shadow.
When I ask her job relate question she is always seem very irritate,bother ,unfriendly annoy ,she is always rude and likes to make some wild nasty comment
Since I,m in training and not allow to respond to any call without this women because of her inability to stop unnecessary ch-hating and go street to call,I was late sometime not due to anything I done personal.
for example one day her and I was in Building and she went into a restroom and I was waiting in Duty Office. I was Dispatch to Ambulance bay for escort Ambulance personnel to ER room within specific time frame.
even though she is finish with restroom, I was waiting for her so that we can respond to this call but she disregard and into her co-worker office ch-chatting...we were late and evenly she blame me.
I spend a lot of time during training with her in the Duty Office or in officer room. Which I strongly object to numerous times that falls on deaf ear. this is not only unprofessional but ineffective training method for new employee to learn..... now she say want to go to the manager to complain about me now learning fast enough? what you think my options are at this point?
