Orion 13 will be the first Project Constellation lunar fly-by flight of the Orion command module in conjunction with the Altair 1 lunar lander, sending people around the moon and back for the first time since the Apollo program. It won't be the first landing since Apollo (that would be Orion 15), but still the first manned fly-by since the Apollo days - pretty significant and it's quite surprising that NASA chose the number 13 for such a significant mission given what happened to Apollo 13.
I hope everything goes fine, and I support NASA's persistence in not caring about stupid superstitions.
Science prevails. Can't wait for 2018
I know there's no question here, I was just bored and hoping to spark a conversation.
