NASA and the bat clinging to the space shuttle rocket.?

Did the bat clinging to the space shuttle survive? And will PETA protest future NASA missions?

I'm more than willing to bet that the bat did not make it...and I doubt that even PETA is all that powerful enough to stop the space program.
