Naruto Shippuden Season/Arc 3 Talkback (spoilers)

Still I don't think there's a need to do a large amount of fillers for awhile though. However since they did do a Three Tails arc, I'd like them to include the other tails

That weren't in the manga. 4 Tails was mentioend but we never saw the battle between it and Kisame, and 5th-7th were merley just glanced over without any mention. Surley they could of bothered including the battles with them in since the 8th Tail battle was pretty good. I mean really if you are going to have filler it should be on something that SHOULD of been in the manga. Just don't make it as long and dragged on as this arc is going to be though.
 
I'm getting the vibe that she died giving birth to Naruto, that or she was one of the ninja who tried stopping the nine tailed fox but died in the process.
 
55 was pretty good IMO. I loved it when Naruto called Saukra a ugly whore XD

I'll probably skim through the next episode, and only watch the cannon material.
 
Pain has already appeared, in episode 10, at least as a shadowy figure. It'll be a while before we see his face though.
 
I agree, a few people I talk to says it's not as good as the first, but I don't think so. I've seen some AMAZING stuff in Shippuden.




I'm surprised they had him smoking in the manga.

Does he eventually stop?
 
I just find it ironic that Shippuden is in filler right now since the pace they were going in was to adapt every panel into its own individual episode(an exaggeration, but still). It seemed that Studio Pierrot was taking every precaution to make sure that this show didn't do filler again. I guess Yu Yu Hakusho will remain an anomaly for Shonen Jump shows.

I enjoyed it as well since they actually managed to use more chapter material and yet didn't slow down the pacing to fit it all in.

While I'm uncertain how much filler we will get with 56, I'm reasonable sure it won't affect the pacing towarRAB how this arc will turn out.

Though I say that now...
 
Wow, that special was pretty great. I thoroughly enjoyed it, at the very least. Kotetsu's weapon was awesome, and next episode looks like it'll be great.

Shippuuden's got pretty great direction as of the second arc--let's hope for more of that.

No I'm reasonable sure they are not going to pull an FMA on the Naruto-fandom. Kishimoto and others would probably strongly object to such display.

The filler in this arc bores me because it set up (I had thought) to introduce Hidan and Kakazu more clearly. However now that's clearly not the case, I'm just wanting it to end. Is worse than Team Gai versus Clones? No. But it's still not as good as Hidan and Kakazu are.

Perhaps they feel now that they are this far behind they can do so.
 
Disagreed! I love this opening a lot. Especially the unbelievably well sung English. That probably has something to do with the singer, Inoue Joe, being born raised in L.A. XD As well, the visuals are really entertaining, but the ending to it is admittedly... awkward.
 
Not to mention, if they are going to have filler, they need to up the pace in them and make the fights a bit more creative than using the same attack over and over again. I just hate when they use an attack and then it doesn't work, and then they use it again and are surprised by the attack not working.

If they want to do filler on the additional Tailed Beasts, fine, but don't make the pacing so slow and the fights so lame.
 
the main point of the non filler material may be coming within the next 4 weeks as episode 59 is entitled "New Enemy"

If that is true, can't wait for that episode
 
Well, the anime has roughly covered up through chapter 342, which I think is right after Hidan and Kakuzu die. We recently had the 435th, so that's about 93 chapters.

By way of contrast, Bleach was about 39 chapters behind before filler began again. Of course, this probably means that Naruto's filler will not be nearly as long...

As to whether it's justified, I'm not clear on pacing, though I know some have felt that at times it's been waaaaay too slow. So if filler now means good pacing for certain big fights later...maybe.

Blast, I have to start watching again.
 
yeah, one of the data books said the 4 tails had lava based powers (mixed fire with earth), but it was never shown in the manga, they should expand on that in the anime.
