Naruto Shippuden Season/Arc 3 Talkback (spoilers)

The 4th OP is gonna be hard to top. They haven't finished with the filler yet, but it kinda seems like it will wrap up soon...hopefully lol.

I was reading some comments on hulu.com...

Did VIZ officially stop uploading to Hulu now? Someone said that they moved on to a "paid subscription" based website instead of Hulu.

*EDIT* I think I found it, is it now crunchyroll exclusive?

Naruto Shippuden #127, #128 Now Available!
There was no new episode last week, but there are two today, and Crunchyroll has them both up for Anime Merabers. They seem to be about Jiraiya's history with 3 certain orphans.

Which I have to say, came out pretty good.

My only gripe is in the preview for next week where they censored a "certain detachment."

I have missed the last 3 episodes of Shippuden, so I plan on going back and catching them over the next day or two, I hope Guren and Yuukimaru turn out okay and can get out of this mess so Guren can take care of him, but as I have mentioned before, I think something bad is about to happen to one of them and they wont be able to have that mother/son relationship that both of them seem to want, either that or Guren's secret about killing his mother will come out.

It seems Obito has the same voice actor as Tobi

Overall, a real good ep. My only dissapointment is them leaving out the 4th's part of the Gaiden. I loved Obito. Kakashi was a tool, but that's to be expected.

I'm quite disappointed that the fillers have lasted for so long. Basically entire season 3 (from the end of the Sasuke arc) has been fillers. And this Sora person is lame and annoying. C'mon Shippuden, get on with it already!

Having reread the Manga a few times now, I've gotta say this arc (and how it ties up a few arcs from now) is really a sign Kishimoto still cares, for anyone who thinks differently.

Airing filler like this in the unfamiliar territory that is legal weekly online distribution is risky when it comes to keeping the audience. I mean, I'm sure when people were told that Shippuden would be airing, finally, they were expecting animated versions of Pein vs. Jiraiya and Sasuke vs. Itachi, not Hinata trying to make chocolates in fillerland.

That was never any source to that. Someone just made it up.

There are rumors about a filler arc after this one and before Sasuke, but we don't know what it is about yet.

using filler in between manga arcs, its about time they do this, geez they sould have done this after the rescue garra arc instead of borabarding us with the slowest pase anime in the universe.

Edit: never mind, i thought this was the case because of the openings new filler characters but no, were still in slow pased zone, i mean seriously the entire episode was Sai at the library, and talking between Naruto, Kakashi, and Sakura, geez, if Shippuden ever makes it to America itl get canceled for being so boring.

I think things will continue to get more and more interesting. I already figured that Minato was Naruto's father from the beginning. I mean, they looked alike, and I don't think that he would've chosen some random newborn to bear the burden of Kyuubi based on how noble he has been described as. I can tell things are going to get great. I'm glad that we get to see Jiraiya fight soon, I want to see what he is really capable of against a major opponent, one on one. I have to say I'm a little worried though because:

I'm thinking Jiraiya won't make it out of this one. Naruto has surpassed him in training, at least with his Rasengan technique, Orochimaru is pretty much dead unless he consumes Kabuto, so Jiraiya's only purpose left is to tell old stories of himself, Tsunade and Naruto's father. Maybe he will become an Elder??? But I think he may get killed.

When Asuma died, there was a lot of focus on his characters background, and now that's starting with Jiraiya. But then again, we did just see Kakashi Chronicle's, although Kakashi doesn't seem to be doing too much right now aside from tracking Sasuke. I hope Jiraiya makes it through, he is one of my favorites, I'm just sort of doubtful in this case.

So, I was wondering approx how many episodes the manga is ahead right now asumming the anime doesn't get any more filler. I was wondering because I may be interested in reading the manga if the anime is too far behind. Things are getting interesting.
