Naruto Shippuden Season/Arc 3 Talkback (spoilers)

I hate filler. Every last ounce of NaruHina hinting, noncanon time wasting, just plain boring filler. What's the deal? Are they waiting on Vince Dicola's music rights before they get back to the canon material? There's gotta be enough.

This ep, everything wrong with filler. Although I see one way it could have done some good.

Hinata- Lala, I exist and have a crush on someone that doesn't know I exist...

(Not)Luffy- GOMO-GOMU-NO-BAZOOKA!

Hinata- Ow! (Flies off)

Shino- Where did you send her?

(Not)Luffy- A place where female characters like her are welcome.

*cut to Hinata landing in front of a sign saying "welcome to Kakura town"*
 
Word on the street is that

After Hidan and Kakuzu, there'll be a filler arc with Naruto and Gaara teaming up with human three tails to fight Deidara and Tobi.
 
Hinata hasn't had any spotlight since shippuden started and your already bashing her and her relevance towarRAB the filler where she is needed.
 
Honestly, I think this filler had the potential to be decent, but it has been so bad because of the horrid pacing. They could speed things up and not have flasrabroadacks to things that happened five minutes earlier in the episode.

Though, I do think Crystal Style is a rather cool technique.

Please, no more filler for awhile, the Manga is plenty ahead!
 
Huh, KibaHina. You know, I've figured out what these fillers are for. Random pairing pandering. There is no active attempt to building up lesser seen characters, nor is there any attempt to delve into unseen backstory. (We haven't seen that since way back in Part I). Just shipping. Shipping and making no sense.

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
 
I am enjoying the "Three Tails" arc so far, I know it's "Filler", but I don't care because I am really enjoying the story it's telling so far. I am really feeling for Guren and Yuukimaru throughout all of this, I know Guren wants to leave all this crap behind and take care of him, but I feel Guren will be suffering a not so enjoyable fate soon and won't get that oppertunity, sad really. The action has picked up since the episde where Rock Lee took out all those dudes in the mist, that was pretty fun, and we finally got to see some of the team face off against the Guren in an enjoyable battle, and we got to see Guren and Naruto versus the Three Tails. I'm a happy man.
 
I think it's funny that the u.s. manga/graphic novel market has surpassed a japanese television anime. don't know if thats ever happeneded before. i dont know how many chapters are in each novel but theres like 4-6 graphic novels in walmart,/borders/barnes and noble ahead of the tv series.

im behind like 5 episodes of the filler, it seems good but damn the super awesome fights need animated lol
 
Seriously!? That would be a good filler arc, heck it would probably confuse anime watchers into thinking it was canon. I don't understand why there is so much filler though, unless the anime makers are trying to give some characters more importance or something.

It seems like our pacing problem is over (or at least we can hope). I'm kinda glad they're adding a side-story to make the training go quicker.

Oh, and widescreen Shippuden looks BEA-U-tiful on my Mac

Sasuke almost using his lighting attack was definitely the eye-catcher of this episode
 
What did everyone think of episode 96? I found it to be a bit boring and this arc is going on for far too long without any major involvments or battles, getting frusterated with it.
