Naruto Shippuden Season/Arc 3 Talkback (spoilers)

Blue Bird for me is amazing (memorized it in 8 minutes w/out subs. Yay me). Not just because the singer is great but because it blenRAB in so well with the image that it sets. Hero's Come Back was different and fun, Distance was...passable, but Blue Bird was just majestic.

As for the fillers, let's just see if they learned their lesson like last time and can take a page out of Bleach's fillers (Bount arc was pretty good for a filler)

By the way, when I saw Naruto falling, what video game do you think I thought of as soon as I saw it?
 
I just hope that the Filler arc deals with the Cat bijuu...

that is the one that Hidan and Kakazu kill off during their introduction, right?
 
Well if You Don't want to watch Filler, I'd suggest watching Episode 71. That is the end of the filler saga but it also has some canon stuff (like Hidan and Kakazu capturing the two tailed cat) and leaRAB into Episode 72 which is full on canon stuff and the continuation of the Hidan and Kazaku arc. That's where I'd go to not watch any filler that apparently is doing better then most Naruto Shippuden Canon eps from what I've heard.
 
So I saw ending 8 last night, which is possibly one of the silliest openings or endings I've ever seen. We're talking Kodocha opening level right there. It's pretty fun. Naturally, Rock Lee and Gai have to be involved.

I'm gonna try playing catch up with the legal streams, since it's actually been ages since I've paid much attention to the Naruto anime at all. Really should fix that.
 
This arc is getting so good. I wish they could have written serious arcs like this for the first series--it would have kept it interesting.
 
I was looking at the nuraber of chapters and volumes and the two long filler arcs that people dislike actually needed to be there somewhat. The anime would of caught up too fast eventually and then there would be no good zone to be filler in, which would be a very bad thing. But yeah, Shippuden ain't bad when it gets anything canon right. I really need to start catching up..
 
New episode is out.

Man, I hate Sakura, first of all she interupts Naruto's training telling him he stinks, then she indirectly ruins Hinata chans valentines day chocolette for Naruto. This flat chested tramp is seriously overcompensating for something. Lack of curvy hottness and little fanboys I bet. I hope to god Sasuke comes back to her life because she's ruining everything with Naruto. At least with Sasuke, she was more a well behaved tramp.

Anyway, the episode, the illigetmate son of Luffy and Rock Lee vs. Future Hyuuga Heiress. She shows some sick moves but then she gets pwned. They need to take a look a Bleach's Filler. I didn't like how Kakashi got pwned big time by a filler mc fillain with Gear 3. Also, Kiba? Why not Shino or someone cooler than that butt sniffing doggy boy?

Lackluster eough for a 4/10 but Hinata's moves and Hinata just existing in Naruto makes it a 6/10.

Well, if you can find entertainment in a story even if there's no cannon to it, then that's great. I'm the kind of person who can't enjoy something if I know it means nothing. That's why I quit watching the Naruto dub when it hit fillers, I quit watching Bleach when it hit the Bount Arc, and despite how much I love One Piece I quit watching when it goes into fillers.

Even if the story is well written, or it has decent humor value, I simply can't tolerate fillers. That's why I'm done with Shippuden until the fillers are over.
 
Man, they did not tone down Karin or Suigetsu's colors at all...so bright.

All of this in restrospect from the manga, I will still enjoy this arc if they tone down their flasrabroadacks.

Suigetsu sounRAB familiar. Please don't tell me he's voiced by Cloud's VA too.
 
Kakashi: "This will require a significant amount of training. It's not like those stories where the character gets ridiculously strong in a few days time..."
