Naruto Shippuden not to air on TV in the States?

No matter what anyone says, I still prefer watching anime on TV over the internet, so hopefully they will air it on TV and also stream the dub online at Jetsream as well, for people that dont have digital recorder, missed the show, or dont even have the channel.

I hate to confess but I actually memorized that song.

It's just...so addicting (ikuze 3, 2, 1 Make Some Noise!)

Too bad the music video for it was pretty bad

(was that Steven Blum at the beginning and ending?)

Well lets look at the schedule for YAH

Batman brave and bold - I LOVE 60s cheese

The Secret Saturdays - I REALLY LOVE 60s cheese

Ben 10 AF I love a good action show
Star Wars - EPIC
Thats a good schedule to me
Besides YAH isnt meant as a replacement for Toonmi but a companion to HHT

Hopefully someone making the decisions at Cartoon Network realizes that the Naruto episodes they've been airing for the better part of a year are very different from the episodes that made Naruto popular and the episodes that Shippuden has to offer. If nothing else they should order a handful of episodes (13 to 26 maybe) and see what happens.

That would be awesome and wonderful, not to mention beneficial for the fans that still watch Naruto even with it being fillers.

The best I can do though is to create a new thread revolving around this video in the Cartoon Network Forum.

EDIT: I'm gonna ask one of the forum moRAB first tomorrow.

I think the real question is, how is CN going to recapture casual viewers it may have lost over the filler arcs? I mean, the hardcore message-board-going otaku like us might know the difference between filler and canon, but that's a tiny minority of Naruto watchers. How are they going to convince Billy Everypreteen, "We promise, the word 'Shippuden' is Japanese for 'it sucks less'!"?

(-:

They aren't trying to replicate Toonami. What would be the point? If they wanted the new block to be a Toonami, they would have keep it and moved it Fridays.

Who gives a crap about Toonami? I want Naruto Shippuden, not Toonami.

The series does get ratings. What are you talking about? And if the Naruto movies do better than the Naruto episodes have you maybe considered that's because they actually advertise the movies where they don't advertise Naruto episodes and don't air them consistently?
