Naruto Shippuden not to air on TV in the States?

Meh, it's ok lol, I realize that I can be "dense" sometimes, it comes with having the mentality/mind of a 12 year old or younger .

Snort, Cartoon Network will most likely milk Naruto out until it's dry, so it probably won't finish airing until April 2009.

Maybe that's why they don't want to air it. Cartoon Network probably thinks "We have Ben 10: Alien Force, what do we need Naruto Shippuden for?"

Well, at first I was only going to mention Batman, since I thought is was a pretty clever way to make fun of it, but then I figured, what the hell maybe I can come up with names to make fun of all of the shows. Though, I think someone up came up with The Clone Bores first.

When did I ever say I wanted Toonami back?

Oh, you mean Viz has already started releasing Shippuden? Oh wait, you must have been watching fansubs. If you illegally watch an anime you have no right to complain about it. Oh by the way, if you want a less lame way to make fun of Shippuden, try replacing the p's with t's.

Those are adult aimed shows where adults watching them are the correct them are the demo those cable networks are going after. Now, I don't know the specifics, but don't mainly teens and adults watch Naruto? And even so, CN might very well be under the impression that they can shift us around as they like because we'll stick to the show.

Ummmm...what? Naruto may have a big teen audience, but adults? It's possible that adults watch Naruto, but Cartoon Network has never released any data for Naruto's adult ratings, so I don't know where you're getting that from. Naruto gets great 6-11 ratings, which is Cartoon Networks main demographic. Actually, I should say that it used to get great 6-11 ratings. We haven't seen any 6-11 ratings recently, but considering Cartoon Network doesn't advertise Naruto anymore, that's to be expected. If there really was a lot of adults watching Naruto then Adult Swim would probably pick it up.

Okay Cartoon Network. Answer me this. Why rerun Naruto movies when you can air, I dunno, new Naruto episodes? Oh come on! Get the fillers over with, finish the series, and then (if you actually feel like it) air Naruto Shippuden.

Adults being those of us eighteen and older. I know there's a handful of us here, however there's bound to be others. It might not register on their ratings reports, though. We know teens don't matter to them as much so it's possible the teens and adults that do watch Naruto and the lack of younger ones watching is what is leading to less frequent but retention of the series.

Again, it's all just speculation. Let's remeraber that Shipp

Haven't you figured it out yet? They're trying to kill Naruto. That's the reason why they're airing Naruto in this manner. They want any excuse they can get to not pick up more Naruto.

My particular cable operator airs advertisements for adults on the Cable Operators Block (COB) during Naruto. They don't for any other CN show. Since cable operators can force people to use those set-top boxes, that report back to them exactly what is being watched/when, they propbably have a much more accurate understanding of what people are watching in their area than Nielson's polls do.

Oh thank god, that's a relief . I actually believed him for a moment there.

Really? I keep on forgetting that I guess =/.

What time slot is You Are Here, and what days?

Hmm, that's a really good idea .

Of course I believe it. Despite the haters constantly declaring as fact that no one likes the fillers and they get terrible ratings, the little evidence we have suggests that people do watch the fillers and they do get good ratings. It really comes as no surprise that Naruto fans want to own all of the episodes on DVD regardless of whether they're filler or not.
