Naruto Shippuden not to air on TV in the States?

Since I don't watch the show on TV, I only want them to keep airing it so walmart keeps stocking the DVRAB, since they're cheeper there than they are at Best Buy

If this actually did happen could it be that the voice actors were exaggerating, or were biased against CN for whatever reason?

I still think it's silly for an entire network to actually "hate" anime and go out of their way to destroy it's presense on the channel.

Uhh, thanks? xD I was hoping for a written response, but whatever .

Hmm, it's amazing that Naruto Shippuden hasn't aired english dubbed yet.....oh wait, that's Cartoon Network's fault .

It's silly but the way anime was quickly shuffled off of CN/AS is still suspicious, you must think. Even the mighty Naruto is going to be over a month without a single episode running on the network when Dec. 27th rolls around, when finally another episode will air.

I'm not an otaku or a diehard anime fan, but I like Japanese animation a lot and like with any of my favorite shows I am not happy when they get shafted. This includes Naruto, this includes Code Geass, this includes One Piece, this definitely includes Moribito.

According to Wikipedia there will be 4 new episodes of Naruto on January 3rd, and then every Saturday after will have 2 NEW episodes.

I hope that it's true .

Why do you hate agreeing with me? Don't you know that every time you agree with me an angel gets his wings?

Again, I ask, patient for what? Even if we're willing to wait 10 years, Cartoon Network isn't likely to play Shippuden. Besides, patience sometimes has the reverse effect. Like, if you psych yourself up for something too much then you'll be dissappointed when you finally see it because your expectations were too high. At this point I figure if Cartoon Network doesn't start airing Naruto more often soon, then I'm just going to go to Hulu and watch the episodes there. It's not the same as watching it on TV, but it's better than nothing.

Wow, you should at least be grateful that it's coming out at all. There are tons of anime out there that wish they could be streamed, be on tv, or finish their tv run. And remeraber, there are other options for Naruto, like Sci-Fi channel. Hell even Disney XD or Nicktoons Network is possible.

Well thats just stinkawith ...Why Doesn't Viz Get The Anime though since they have the manga...or If not them,...FUni..I mena its by Akira Toryama...And as Popular as some of his other stuff hes made/worked on (Like DBZ, Blue dragon, Chrono Trigger, ...etc.) are so popular in the US I don't see why no one else has bought the rights to either of the animes YEt...I mean SHin Chan & Lucky star have prooven that Comedy animes can work just as well in the US as action!

Just because airings have slowed it doesn't mean there's no chance. Just wait for the series to complete airing or the inevitable home video release. If Shipp

Well, maybe if Batman: The Brave and the Badly Drawn, Secret Suckdays, Ben 10 Times Too Many, and Star Wars: the Clone Bores all fail they'll start to rely on Naruto more. But, it doesn't look like that's going to happen. Let's boycott You Are Here!

Actually, Cartoon Network has been airing aRAB for Batman: Gotham Knight this week, which is only an hour and a half and according to posters on the Toonami board a new episode of Naruto is scheduled to air after it. This is obviously all a part of Cartoon Network's plan to lower Naruto's ratings. They make a schedule where Naruto isn't airing, and then they change the schedule and put Naruto back on and when no one watches it because they thought it wasn't on they say "See, the ratings are low. No one likes Naruto anymore."

Yes, because Viz has dubbed at least the first episode.

The preview is that way so dub viewers won't be completely thrown off by the Japanese voices just yet. Plus, there was an announcement last week saying the online episodes will be subbed.
