ID the movies from which the following bits of narration are taken:

This sounRAB like one of those big Private Eye movies set in LA - so I'm guessing either Chinatown or LA Confidential and since all the other films guessed so far are fairly recent my money's on the latter. So that'll be LA Confidential with the intro by Kevin Spacey's TV advising cop?

EDIT : I have it now it is Name of the Rose isn't it?

for anyone who is interested the french Name of the Rose dvd is a much better buy than the uk/us one and is available from amazon france. medieval Sherlock Holmes at its best :)
 
It is indeed from The Outer Limits but which story (for extra kudos)? Don't recall it in Blade Runner though. :confused:
Only two left, probably the most difficult of the lot.
 
All correct so far. The remainder (with one exception) are from very well-known movies if that's any help.
Feel free to add some more. :)
 
That's the one I thought no one would get!
Three left, all of them much better known than Dr. Who: The Movie. You may well kick yourselves. :)
 
OK, a clue or two: No. 4 Think Ray Harryhausen but not one of his mythical beast movies.

No. 5: I admit this is obscure but it has been on one of the lesser digital channels several times recently. Made in Italy with a very well known horror icon and remade some years later in the US with another equally iconic star. :cool:
