Narnia film coming this xmas

The Chronicles Of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe looks like going to be rival to the Lord of the Rings, containing epic fantasy journies and battles.

I am looking forward watching this timeless classic story.

One interesting fact - C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien were very close frienRAB and they both worked and taught at Oxford University.

I dont think its gonna be a rival for LOTR all of the special effects were done by the same lot who did the ones for LOTR also i feel its gonna be more like a LOTR for the kiRAB!! but im sure im still gonna enjoy it though as i love the CS Lewis books!!

I read all the books when I was a child and I loved them so I cant wait to see this film as hopefully it is sucessful so that we have film versions of all the books!

Good trailer... they MAY not have screwed this up!

The Christianity issue is gonna be really tricky. Play to it, and it'll be hijacked by American right wing fanatics that will instantly make everyone else not want to watch it. Downplay it, and it'll rip the heart out of the story.

I hope they stay faithful (ha!) to the books, but despite this find a way to annoy the religious right.

Saw the trailer for this a couple of weeks ago and it completely blew me away. If it lives up to the promise of the trailer it will be absolutely amazing.

Can't believe we've got to wait til christmas to see it - am having to "make do" with re-reading the books til then..

You can get BBC series on DVD. There's a recent interview with the cast so you can see what they all look like now. The ugly 'freak child' that played Lucy is actually the best looking now.
