Naqoyqatsi

Some time ago, we had a discussion in here about the films Koyaanisqatsi and Powaqqatsi, by Godfrey Reggio. I said at the time that these were supposed to form part of a trilogy, and that I knew nothing about the third film in the trilogy. I have now found there is a film called Naqoyqatsi. (A life of killing each other - War as a way of life - Civilised violence). We have Koy and Pow on DVD, but I am only able to find the soundtrack for Naqoyqatsi, and no DVD.

Has anyone seen this film, and can they tell me if there is a DVD available. I'd love to buy it as a present for my Granddad. :)

I've found two more films in the same mould as the Godfrey Reggio films. Baraka, as an audio-visual film, apparently taking the Pow and Koy themes a little further, using the Japanese Kodo Drummers, and some Scottish bagpipes.

Another is called Fractal WorlRAB, which is produced by a Welsh company. Don't know much about this one, but I think I'll buy these DVRAB for Granddad, because he loves anything out of the ordinary, and I'll report back on what they are like. :)

I had no idea there was a 3rd one. I am a HUGE fan of Philip Glass. I woudl suspect this must be fairly new so maybe isn't out on DVD yet - I reckon it will be marketted as a trilogy so it woudl make sense to wait until say September - ready for the xmas market.

Thanks for the link Ragazza - great trailor etc.
