So I was kind of lazily exploring the internet one day and came across a video of a proposed infinity device, it's not, but it was interesting enough and seemed like it could run for some time.
Well now I can't remember the name of this device for the life of me and I want to know more about it and possibly build one.
I'll try and describe it as best I can, it was a long time ago.
The whole device was centered around one axel that is held vertically and can rotate. This axel has a gear on it that is in contact with three smaller gears placed in a triangular fashion on a jig that is held up by the axel. These three gears have something of an off center weight on them. When the axel is rotated it spins the three other gears, which rotates the jig, and the weights keep the momentum of the whole device going, rather than just having the equivalent of a spinning top with gears in it.
As I said I can't remember the name of this contraption so are there any science savvy people out there who can tell me.
