Name this documentary about the northern town where kids were taken away?????????????

A few years back on BBC1 i think, there was a documentary about a village or town where 1 day all the children were taken away by social services and questioned up north.

It showed footage of them being questioned as well. The kiRAB were eventually given back but there was never any apology.

The case I'm recalling involved a male and female paedatrician, whose mass diagnoses of child abuse were called into question. I recall the enquiry into that going on in 1986/7. The actual removal of children had thus obviously happened some time before.

It was about rochdale in 1990. Shocking!

The only one I can think of would have been the Cleveland 'scandal' but unfortunately I didn't see a documentary about it. That happened in 1987 and was likened to the Salem witch trials.
