The alkene I have is identical to that, but without the extra methyl group at the right (it's pentene instead of hexene).
Can someone help naming it for me?
I got: 3-Ispropyl-2-Pentene, but I realize it can also be 4-methyl-3-propyl-2-pentene. Which is correct?
And does this have (E)/(Z) conformation? I didn't think so, but I'm not too sure.
