Name 5 cartoon animals that are too cute for words and you want to hug or pet.

Thumper (Bambi)., Icarus (Little Nemo), Flower (Bambi), Baby Todd (Fox and The Hound) and Bunnie Rabbot (SatAM).
 
Care to explain your answers? List threads aren't too well liked around there parts.

Anyway, as for mine:

1. Babs Bunny (Tiny Toons)-Really, what can I say? She's hilarious as she is adorable. I understand I'm biased, as rabbits may appear more than once on this list, but honestly, Babs has everything I like in a toon female, unwillingness to conform to a set archetype, one minute she's an action girl, the next minute she's the love interest.

2. Fluttershy-(Friendship is Magic) How can I have a list of cute toon animals without giving Fluttershy a mention? Even when she rages, it's squee worthy. Plus I feel she, apart from Twilight, is the most fleshed out character on the show. She started off as incredibly shy but had moments where she got out of her comfort zone (Be it cheering for Rainbow Dash after successfully pulling off a sonic rainboom or telling off a dragon)

3. Pinkie Pie (FiM)- Pinkie Pie is another funny girl character, which is pretty rare. Pretty much what I said with Babs, but nix the part about going from action girl to love interest, she is just untamed looniness in a can.

4. Mordecai (Regular Show)-The only male on my list. He's not cute in the traditional ways, rather it's his voice and calmer attitude compared to Rigby. It's the fact he's subdued, though Rigby can hype him up a lot. Really the fact he's 23 and acts like a kid at times does it for me, and his crush on Margaret is the icing on the cake (Free cake! Free cake! Sorry, had to do that).

I don't have a 5th one, and before you ask, no I'm not adding Nermal (Garfield) because he can be a bit of a jerk and throw around his "cuteness" much to everyone's annoyance.

Welp, y'all can close this thread. No one can top hamtaro. Only "greatness" could enter toonami, and it was just that. :p
 
Calumon (or Kurumon, to give his original Japanese name) from Digimon Tamers is the cutest cartoon ever, bar none, at least IMHO.

Other than that, I guess the Ninja Turtles as babies/little children are pretty cute.
 
Agreed with Fluttershy. If Pinkazoid... I mean, Pinkie Pie is my favorite pony, then Fluttershy is #2.

And for some reason, I find Peri from Spliced very cute, both in his design and personality. He's always so happy, and for once it's not annoying.

I don’t really have a list, but I’ll always have a soft spot for Cadpig, from 101 Dalmatians: The Series. She looked downright adorable, but it was her personality and her voice that really made her so damn cute. Kath Soucie did a spectacular job. I also really like Teri, from The Amazing World Of Gumball. The series has some spectacular animation, but out of all of the characters, she is the one that stands out the most to me; the paper effect looks great, and while her dress and facial expressions may be simple, everything combines to make my heart melt. It seems that she’ll have an adorable voice, too, based on one of the online trailers.
 
I've been watching a lot of Rocko's Modern Life lately, and I have to say that his pet Spunky is just about the cutest lil' cartoon dog ever.
 
Stitch - Lilo and Stitch (He's my top pick. I love his character design, very alien looking and yet still adorable. He can even look pretty intimidating when he wants to.)

The Seahorse - Finding Nemo (I'm not sure what this character's name is or if he even had one, but I really thought he was cute. Too bad he didn't have a bigger role in the movie. I remember wishing they'd made a toy of him.)

Ryo-Ohk - Tenchi Muyo (I was never a huge fan of this show, but that rabbit/cat creature was really cute.)

Ducky - The Land Before Time (I always really liked this movie, [only the first one] and I think Ducky is arguably the cutest, most innocent character. Her signature, "Yup yup yup" line always makes me smile.)

Todd - The Fox and the Hound (I've always really liked foxes. They're one of my favorite animals. There are a lot of really cute scenes with Todd and Copper in this movie, but Todd is a bit cuter IMO. He's cute even as an adult.)
 
Pinkie Pie & Fluttershy: I can't choose between them, so I have to count them both. They're both adorable in their own ways and I could never, ever, choose between them.

Tails: Sonic the Hedgehog's little buddy. If Tails ever got a solo series without Sonic around, I'd probably be the only one to watch i.

Scrappy Doo: Yeah, I said it. I love Scrappy Doo, but the later version (From new the New Scooby Doo & Scrappy Doo Show - the Superstar 10 movies)where he actually had a personality. Who here saw the episode where Scrappy revealed he was into D&D type RPGs?

F.T.: Fuzzy Tomato from the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes cartoons. He counts. He had fur and acted like a real dog, after all.
 
Pikachu-I think this animal has become a icon among gamers around the world, probably one of the most recognizable characters in the world. I defiantly consider it a cute icon.

Stitch-Stitch is pretty cute, a interesting animal at that, though I'm a sucker for cute animals with amazing powers.

Spongebob-A interesting cute Sponge who is well known all around and has a nice attitude.

Snoopy-It's a well known character of the Peanuts franchise, and very cute.

Snoopy(The Peanuts) - Best awesome dog character in the Peanuts franchise and the first character to ever kick that jerk Lucy's butt, go Snoopy:D!!!!!!

Lt. M'Ress(Star Trek:The Animated Series) - She's the first cutest catgirl I've ever saw with a nice design.

Cheer Bear(The Care Bears) - Cool female Care Bear who's very cute along with her great funny personality and a nice ponytail.

Gadget(Chip n' Dale's Rescue Rangers) - She was great and adorable for a female mouse inventor who's the best brainy character ever along with her nice gadget ideas.

Tashy 497/Mushy/Tarax/497(Sym-Bionic Titan) - The seventh Mutraddi that's not evil, but such a cute harmless creature who turns out to be a ticking time bomb, its death was sad, he'll be missed:crying::crying:.

Calumon and Cutemon(Digimon Tamers/Xros Wars) - They are both so cute/awesome especially Cutemon for his great character development on wanting to save his parents.

Spot(Spottenheim)/Mar/Mur/Black Spot(Spottenheim)/Female Mur(U.F.O. Ultramaiden Valkyrie) - Funny abused dog, awesome little evil alien turned anti-hero with a funny voice who so looks like Dengakuman, and a little striped alien with a funny voice that are cute which their chemistries were great.Spot/Spottenheim's black doppelganger and that female Mur was cute as well.

Mesousa/the weird cat/the weird salamander(Pani Poni Dash!) - They were awesome and just so adorable which poor Mesousa the bunny is always abused and the weird salamander is so creepy on how it talks, hahahahaha.

Happy/Charle(Carla)/Nady/Marla(Fairy Tail) - Cool blue cat who's so cute/hilarious for his antics and even his "Aye!" catchphrases are also cute as well:anime:.His "standing up for Charle(Carla)/nice speech" scene and ending picture of him being super brave in front of Charle/Carla was SUPER EPIC!!!!!Charle/Carla may be an annoying jerk rejecting poor Happy, but despite her lousy uptight attitude, she's so adorable!!!!!Nady the long-necked black Exceed may be evil, but he's so cute along with arm-shaking habit, hahahahaha.Happy's sweet mother Marla is so kind/adorable.

Mepple/Mipple/Porun/Lulun/Flappy/Choppy/Mupu/Fupu(Pretty Cure/Max Heart/Splash Star) - Mepple may be an annoying humongous jerkface, but he's adorable though, but the others are cute/awesome/likable for always being playful and being super brave to help Natalie, Hannah, Hikari, Saki, and Mai fight the evil villains and are so much better than the annoying jerk Mepple who doesn't tease/mock poor Natalie.Porun and Lulun were so adorable together!!!!!
 
Oh yes, how did I forget Stitch?! I remember when L&S first came out, I took an insert from the newspaper and carried it in my clipboard for quite a while just because I thought Stitch was so cute and cool at the same time.

Anyway, i dont really have a top five, but the number one cutest cartoon character ever for me has to be none other than Pikachu. It's like they took everything cute there is about mice, cats, chin-chillas and rabbits and put it into that one character.
 
Toonatic, care to elaborate on those choices? We don't do lists here. If you're going to throw out names, explain WHY you think they're cute.
 
Seriously guys, we have this whole sticky thread about List topics. If I see one more person not explaining his choices infractions will be sent. This is a warning to everyone.

On-topic, my recent favorite "cute animal" would have to be Pinkie Pie. I find her constant randomness to be ridiculously cute, specially when she does the "Pepe LePew" hopping and the couple of times we saw her with her "sad" hairstyle.
 
Yeah, you could pretty much list all the Tiny Toons or Muppet Babies.



There was a girl that I kinda liked my senior year of high school. I remember she loved Pikachu. My sister in law thinks that Jigglypuff is adorable.
 
Fluttershy- Honestly, whats not to like about Fluttershy? Shy but at times she can have her moments. And not to mention I LOVE fluttershy's singing voice.

Stitch- Same reason that Stg frog says.

That robot dog(from Hoshni no kirby)- Even though it was a toy, I still thought it was cute. Although, it was a bit saddening to see him blow up before the episode ended even though he was meant to attack kirby. He didn't bother to do it :(.
 
This. At first I found him to be insufferable, like in that episode where he was "haunting" the school, but he grew on me, and I was really sad when he got Digi-napped for a bit.
 
1. Stitch (Lilo and Stitch) - It's not really Stitch's appearence that appeals to me more than his innocent personality.

2. Hamtaro (Hamtaro) - Anime can be way too cute, and when that happens, you get Hamtaro.

3. Tamama (Sgt. Frog) - Okay, he's part alien, but Stitch is too. Unlike others on the list, he is a bipolar maniac which makes it more cute and hilarious.

4. Mudkip (Pokemon) - Where do you think "I herd u liek the mudkipz" came from? Mudkip is a little too cute (in my eyes) compared to the other pokemon.

5. Squirt (Finding Nemo) - The first thing that came to mind when I saw this thread, but I saved him for last.
