Name That Film

Ok,

Im trying to find the name of a film. I don't know what it was, I may be thinking of two separate movies, but here goes.

It was a movie I think that was recorded off the TV. We had it on the reverse side of Digby (that big dog thing) on a Video 2000 cassette.

So it may have been some disney nonsense.

I remember it involved a woman in the opening scene I think, by/near/on a fence, possible wearing a yellow dress or something, and I think something about a farm or ranch that they were going to lose.

I remember a love interest in the film, and all I seem to remember is a frilly town, maybe a card game and a fist fight (don't think they had guns or perhaps they did LOL) and man and woman trundled off into the distance at the end.

Wow. What a lacklustre description.

I seem to remember it was funny. I think rather than descriptions, Im going to get more out of the genre.

So think about a frilly, not really a western but kind of type love story movie with a farm, money worries, comedic, bit of a punch up and possibly Disneyish. The style is probably like Lightening Jack or Maverick.

Any thoughts?

Oh and somewhere between late sixties to early seventies at a guess.

I keep remembering these films I saw from my childhood that I'd love to see again. Things like opening shots from I think it was Childrens Film Foundation (or at least childrens films that seem to have an opening shot of Trafalgar square), or other films.

Damn my memory.
