Name of this song? A little help?

Just the other day, I heard this really slow, sentimental song on the radio and even tried to remember parts of the song so I could find out what it was called. I didnt remember to do that until today, 2 days later, and now I cant remember the parts that I TRIED to remember. All I know is that it was slow, the singer had a deep voice but Im pretty sure it was a woman.. almost Cher-like but definitely not Cher. Also in the chorus, she always said something like " I won't...... (something) you... Gawdddd its driving me crazy, someone help me please !! Its a slow song, heavy voice, and its about her not hurting or leaving her man... something like that
