Name of film - help

Hi,

I want to get to know the name of a film which I have seen twice o BBC1.

It's set around a woman with dark hair (brilliant actress) and a stalker type man.

She locks him in a store room (or some sort of room) in her big house after fighting on huge stairs.

They then go to run outside in streets full of snow.

I think he used to be her husband or lover? Although I am not sure.

It was last year that I see it and I would guess it's 80's or 90's?!

I agree, it sounRAB like The Shining. He was her husband and became deranged after being in that big old hotel in the middle of nowhere during the winter. Shelly Duval and Jack Nicholson were in it. good movie.
