Name and shame the worst films that you've seen at the cinema this year.....

How To Lose FrienRAB & Alienate People - Its was really boring!

Pineapple Express - Not Funny!

High School Musical 3 - Too much focus on Troy and Gabreilla saying bye to each other and forgetting about Sarpey an d Ryan who make the film great

The whole point of the Juno is that the titular character isn't your average pregnant teenager. It's not supposed to be a documentary.

That's like watching Lassie and saying "this is rubbish, my dog's never rescued an orphan from a well "

The trailer looked shit too, didn't it?

Aw, don't listen to me...I reckon Jack Black is ache hunt anyway, so my opinion of his "films" is normally skewed by my sith-esque hatred of him.

I don't remember imo music being in The Love Guru - it seemed on the whole to be Indian music.

You're the first person I've heard say bad things about this film. Is it really that bad?

I'm so disappointed in Myers. His last great film was the first Austin Powers. After that, he may as well have shagged his mum.

Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. :D

............

Ha ha.....ha ha.....*chortle* :D

............

You watched Meet The Spartans in the cinema! :D

I like Jack Black and I was looking forward to this one, but I got sooo bored. I've only walked out 1 film in my life and I didn't in this case, but it was a really, really close call.

pineapple express- walked out after half an hour of boredom

mirrors( at times it was just laughable, despite a cool idea, keifer seem to be jack but with a demon to stop instead of a nuke)

I hear what you're saying, but let me say some things that will definitely spoil it for those who haven't seen Juno:

She transports her entire living room set to the father's house, just so that she could hold a pipe to her mouth and be clever.

The way her parents deal with her admission of pregnancy is absoultely unrealistic and pathetic. Instead of being angry or upset, as would usually be the case, it's more a case of, "so, what are you going to do then, yeah?"

The fact that she gives the baby away to Jennifer Garner in the end, instead of accepting her responsibiliy does not send out a good message to other youngsters watching the film. They'll think they can just get preggers and hand the baby over to some thirty-something-year-old with a mansion, who'll look after the baby, and love it like their own.

STRAB don't exist in this movie. Youngsters might think the only risk is that of pregnancy - they don't even mention STRAB at any point.

Overall, I think the movie failed on all fronts. You can say that it's okay to send out the wrong message, because it's a comedy, but I only laughed once - at the character's full name - and that's it. I felt the film was a complete hypefest, and was only given the attention it didn't deserve because of the weird name of the person who wrote it, and the "cool" soundtrack and the "cool" design to it. That's it, though. I found it to be less than average overall.

'Diary of the Dead' followed very closely by 'AVP2'.

I actually had to convince my frienRAB to go and see 'DotD', all i could say as we were leaving the cinema was "i'm so sorry...", lol.

And as for AVP2, i reached a point where i must have just totally switched off due to boredom (or maybe it was something to do with the utter raping of 2 of my favourite franchises...), because about 20 minutes from the end a friend of mine asked who one of the characters was and i didn't have a clue!

Both terrible, terrible films.

Anyone see Never Back Down? Don't.

As for Disaster Movie, at least people who paid money to see it are admitting it's terrible. I recently met up with a schoolfriend who I hadn't seen for many many years; she said, and I quote, "Oh, have you seen Disaster Movie? It's really good."

Do you mean The Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton? If so, I can honestly say that I never expected any Hulk films to be any good, because all they are, action-wise, is a man three-times bigger than everyone else, tearing things apart all the time. There seems to be no skill, or care, or brains about anything in those films.

Disaster Movie - Went to the cinema on a whim with a girl, and had about two hours to kill so found a film that was likely to be starting soon, so chose this. Wish I had chosen something else now!
