Hello. Well. I'm gonna sound stupid asking this, but how do we make our own nachos? We can use ground beef right? Are we supposed to cook it before we pop it in the over or well it cook with the cheese and stuff? Sorry, I've never made it before, so yeah. Thank you.

you should a taco mix packet for the mince ,then japaneos ,then try to make the sauce like a cheeseit texture (but not that crap) try usinf a mix of ground white and red cheddar with fresh.

put the chips on the bottom then the mince and top withte sliced japapenios and cheese put in oven for 10 mins

cook the beef in the pan with some ground pepper, paprika, chilli powder and cumin (for that really mexican-y flavour)

then put on the nachos and top with cheese and sprinkle a little more chilli powder onto the cheese

then put it under the grill or in the oven, whichever

then enjoy!!!!

the beef takes longer to cook than it takes the cheese to melt, so you would end up with raw beef with hot cheese on it.

not good!

Cook your ground beef ( or ground pork, ground turkey, whatever) first. I like to season mine with about 1/2 pkg. of taco seasoning. Place taco chips on cookie sheet, put ground meat mixture over chips, top with shreded cheese. Pop in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 min, just until cheese melts. Top with your fave toppings, I like diced fresh tomatoes, a bit of red onion or diced green onions, slices of avocado and sour cream.

Yes cook the beef before placing it on the nachos, you could also use seasoned chicken or steak for them. Plane the chips down first, then the meat and cheese, cook 325 for about 15 minutes.

The reason you want to cook it first and make sure you drain the fat really well, is because the blood and grease that comes from the meat will make your nachos real soggy, and nasty, and it would take closer to an hour to cook it.
